Until enough people become aware of the fact that the government, especially the Federal Govt., in cahoots with the schools, the teachers' unions and the media have been creating a society of ignoramuses, we will see these sorts of examples of idiotic control by people whose capacity for rational thought has been atrophied through disuse. Home schooling is just the start that is needed to attempt to stem the tide. I fear often that is actually too late. That the imbecility has taken hold over too much of society. How else can one account for instance after instance of 'adult' goons who follow rules and procedures that a 5th grader would see as senseless. Too few people remember ACTUAL freedom anymore.
