Vote in this Poll About the Food Police in Schools

There is a 3 question poll in this Althouse blog about the food police in the North Carolina school who told a mother she did not pack a nutritious enough lunch for her 4 year old daughter.

Take the poll and see if you think the same way 90% of the respondents voted on the school's actions.

    I think she should just keep sending a packed lunch and refuse to pay her lunch account. I have seen numerous reports that the schools regularly have outstanding uncollected lunch balances, but they are required to supply the kids with a meal so the school just "eats" the loss. I bet when it starts costing the school money they will suddenly see more nutritional value in the packed lunch.
