"I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power." - Thomas Jefferson 1820

"There is a growing technology of testing that permits us now to do in nanoseconds things that we shouldn't be doing at all." - Dr. Gerald Bracey author of Rotten Apples in Education

The International Child Defined in 1973. Is This the Reason for the Increased Push for Universal Preschool?

Preparing Kids: Creating an International Child instead of an American Citizen.  Get them while they're young.

I picked up the comment below from another thread.  This is a good tie-in with our post from yesterday.

The agenda for education is unmistakable.  We just didn't pay attention before and there was no mechanism (national curriculum/standards/assessments) to deliver the agenda.

Current educational theory is provided through public school curriculum via Common Core standards.  It focuses heavily on becoming a worker in the global economy and being an international citizen as opposed to viewing oneself as an American citizen.  This globalist movement has been a long time in crafting:

(Reader): What do I have against The US Dept of Education's new goal of "International Education"? (Well, not new, just out in the open now.)
“Every child in America entering school at the age of five is insane because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It’s up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well – by creating the international child of the future.”

-Dr. Chester M. Pierce, Harvard Professor of Education and Psychiatry, in an address to the Childhood International Education Seminar in 1973
Is this what you envision for your child?  If children are "insane entering school at the age of five" because of the indoctrination at the hands of their parents, then it makes perfect sense why universal preschool is being pushed for ALL children, high risk or not.
Here's more information on Dr. Pierce from the Harvard site:
Inspired by the life work of our founder, Dr. Chester M. Pierce, we seek quiet excellence and undying commitment in medical service to the international community
Dr. Pierce held the rank of Commander in the US Navy and has been senior consultant to the Surgeon General of the US Air Force, the Children's Television Network (Sesame Street, Electric Company), the US Arctic Research Commission, the Peace Corps, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. His professional service has included chairing committees for the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Research Council, the National Science Foundation, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. He has served on 22 editorial boards. He has also been on the board of the World Association of Social Psychiatry as well as on the boards of local and national voluntary organizations concerned with youth, human rights, and conservation.

Dr. Pierce has published more than 180 books, articles, and reviews, primarily on extreme environments, racism, media, and sports medicine. He has taken many professional trips to Antarctica, where a peak bears his name (Pierce Peak). His numerous awards include those from the National Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, Black Psychiatrists of America, and the World Psychiatric Association. In addition, he has won national and international awards for film production. He was also the subject of a book entitled "Race and Excellence: My Dialogue with Chester Pierce" by Ezra E.H. Griffith published in 1998.
Check out the "Training and Education" link contained in the Global Psychiatry Home Page:

Through collaborative efforts with in-country partners, Division faculty provide culturally-appropriate, clinically-relevant, evidence-based education to professionals and students that enhance psychiatric, mental health and neurological care for global population, and that develop future leaders and mentors. This includes training primary and specialized health workers, current and future providers, and research and clinical staff. Our focus is developing future mentors, trainers and leaders, so our efforts are self-sustaining.

Do you think this training for future leaders and mentors includes making all "sick" American children "well"?  What's scarier than Dr. Pierce?  The fact that Harvard considers his viewpoints inspirational and are putting them into practice.

  1. This is a time in which parents MUST make a choice, their children and their responsibility to bring them up and train them or they will choose cars, electronics, vacations, name brand clothes, gidgets and gadgets, cable tv, keeping up with the Jones' and all sorts of extra curricular activities for their children ahead of what is really important.
It is time for Americans to disconnect from a system that is destroying us and our children's future.
I predict that many parents will be in heaven if they can place their children in state run early education systems at birth and then go on to live out their dreams and place the material ahead of what is lasting, the precious gift of having children to nurture and raise.
It is tragic how we have completely degraded the role of family and our responsibility in this society we now live in. We have been well conditioned for years to accept this as right rather than our God given mandate to bring up our children and we will be the ones held accountable for sacrificing our children and abdicating our responsibility. The elite want your children, to serve them!
